A New Challenge System
Among lots of modifications and new features coming to newly released Apex Legends as part of Season 2, is a new challenge system. The developer was criticized for the Setup of the Season 1 Battle Pass, and now its Season 2 will depend on a set of daily and weekly challenges to keep players from all over the world fully engaged without pushing them off to grind. The lead product manager Lee Horn said on the official game’s website, the implementation should enable for massive Battle Pass progress with less grind over less time for those users who return on a regular basis to increase their challenge resets.
Two Types of Challenges
All challenges will come in two categories: Daily and Weekly. And the completion of these objectives will promote towards leveling up your Battle Pass. To decrease the grind, the developer said over half of the objectives will provide players with a Battle Pass Level. However, in rest situation, the game will grant you with stars which, when mixed with match XP, will work towards completing a repeatable weekly challenge that also offers the player with a full Battle Pass Level.
Get Ready to Loot 100 Epic Items
In Season 2, daily challenges will come in the shape of three tasks selected procedurally from a pool of 200. It will come with seven weekly challenges and these challenges will be intend to be accomplished over several play sessions. In order to loot 100 Epic Items, you should get 20 kills as Bangalore, Gibraltar, or Mirage. Four of seven weekly challenges will reward the player with 6,000 Stars. Three will grant an entire Battle Pass Level upon completion. During the play, if you get a Battle Pass through the Season, challenge from the last weeks will become available.

- The completion of five Daily Challenges will reward One Battle Pass Level
- The completion of 10 Daily Challenges will reward One Battle Pass Level, including 9,000 Star or Match XP.
