Release in late 2021
GTA V is coming to the latest generations of gaming consoles at the end of the year 2021 and it is a piece of great news for console owners as the long wait is finally over. Both the online and offline versions of the game will be available to play on both consoles on 11th November but the news of the launch is surfacing since the PS5 reveal event, confirmed by Rockstar.
There is no official announcement made by the developers of the all the bestselling game about any changes in the game for these next-gen consoles but it is confirmed by Rockstar that will be some new expansions and enhancements in the new version. It is going to be the most waiter and important console game release of the year.
Get Ready to Play a Standalone Game
After three months of the release of the game, PlayStation owners will be able to download and play the online version of the title as a standalone game. It made history by spanning three different generations of gaming consoles and there are more than 140 million copies of the game sold all around the globe.
Releasing GTA V versions for both consoles will take the number of copies sold to a whole new level as PlayStation had already sold more than 7 million consoles. Until the launch of GTA V compatible with the latest consoles, PS4 players are receiving 1 million in-game currency every month and this will end on the release of the new version.
