Electronic Arts Cancels Star Wars Open World Game

Get Ready for Small-scale Game, instead of Star Wars

The underdevelopment Open-world Star Wars game has been canceled by EA. According to a report from Kotaku, the Star Wars project has been closed due to a small-scale game that will be published soon.

The Star Wars game of EA Vancouver was a reboot version of the Star Wars Project. Visceral Games was working on this project until Electronic Arts closed that studio in the year 2017. However, the EA Vancouver continued to use of all assets from the game of Visceral. 

EA Shutdown Visceral Games

EA Vancouver was a large game development studio that manages support for a massive array of the publisher’s games, including Battlefront and FIFA. The studio had been working on this project since 2017 when EA decided to close Visceral Games. However, until then, the studio was famous for its most popular title Dead Space horrors series.
