Saiba Khan

With entries from the big shooter titles of the gaming industry, 2021 has officially become the year of first-person shooter games. First Call of Duty Vanguard and then Battlefield 2042, gamers are excited to try both games, but the usual questions that which of both titles is the best arose again. So here is a detailed comparison between both titles to give you a better idea about which title you should try first.

Single-player Aspect

COD Vanguard features a single-player campaign to help you go back in time and pick up arms against Nazi Germany. You will also learn various historical facts about World War 2 while doing what you love to do the most. The fate of the world is in your hands, so give all the time best on the battlefield.

There is bad news for all the Battlefield lovers out there because developers have chosen a different approach this time by not launching a single-player campaign in Battlefield 2042. There is a mixed reaction from the gamer’s community on the decision, but the multiplayer modes are expected to make for it.

Multiplayer Aspect

Although Battlefield 2042 is a full-fledged multiplayer game, COD Vanguard also features a multiplayer game mode along with the single-player game. In the past, both franchises have been successful when it comes to multiplayer game modes.

To keep the long tradition of player-vs-player battles alive, both games include various multiplayer modes to try something new every time. Experiment with new things and upgrade your loadout as you progress through the game to kill more enemies in the next match. Everything is adjusted according to the theme of both titles, and only professional players will be able to distinguish between features.

New features

Developers have provided gamers with better resolution and a high frame rate to make the gameplay as close to reality as possible. The loading time is also cut short so players don’t have to wait for too long and can immediately start killing Nazi bastards. For smooth gameplay, the game features a higher configuration for PC and XBOX as well as better dual sense compatibility for PS5.

Battlefield 2042 is backward compatible, meaning that you can play it on previous generation gaming consoles and not miss the fun. The PS5, Xbox Series X, and the PC version of the game will bring multiplayer battles featuring 128 players. Meanwhile, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will feature 64 player battles.

The destructible environment in Battlefield 2042 lets you place a bomb near the building and explode it to see the building coming down to earth. Or maybe, you get stuck in a sandstorm or a hurricane and have to find a shelter as soon as possible, or else you will be gone with the wind.

Conclusion

So, the final verdict is that both games inherit the features of FPS titles while offering something new. It depends upon gamers now that which title do they like the most, but both titles have some good and bad.
