Unfortunately, you will no longer be able to play the game
Battleborn is officially shutting down three years after the release and two years after becoming F2P (Free-to-play). The publisher 2K confirmed that servers would be taken down in January 2021, and it additionally said that they would use their resources and efforts on other projects. Recently, the company tweeted that the work they did is evident and they will continue to release updates till the deadline when appropriate.
In some form, the player can access the game to play till 2021. Unfortunately, after 24 February 2020, players won’t be able to purchase the game’s premium currency (Platinum). Until the servers get closed in 2021, you can spend any money you have on buying items and other elements. Once the servers go offline, you won’t be able to play Battleborn, including the Single-player campaign.
The Multiplayer FPS game has already been eliminated from digital storefronts, including Steam and PlayStation Store. However, you can purchase a copy of your game from retailers such as Walmart and Target.
